I’m proud of the way Georgia responded to a big time pressure game although I’m obviously disappointed in the outcome and found the way we lost to be particularly gut wrenching. Hats off to Bama’s O-Line which probably proved to be the biggest difference maker in the game. They should be able to bury ND.

@SouthernBoiSB @buddha22 I'll be a lot happier when the BCS is out of the way. If this were 2014 then not only would we have 2 SEC teams in the playoff(probably), but there would probably be another 2 conference teams in the other 4 prominent bowls. There won't be limits on how many teams from one conference can be included in that system. And we wouldn't have to worry about so many mediocre teams getting a shot.Bama, Georgia, Florida, LSU, A&M, South Carolina....the top end of the conference this year was really strong through and through. It's a shame there aren't enough high profile games for all of them.If this were 2014:Playoff teams = Notre Dame, Bama, and 2 out of Stanford, Kansas State, or Florida.Other games could include the 3rd team left out from above, Oregon, Georgia, LSU, Florida State, a team like Ohio State in most years, Oklahoma, and ironically Northern Illinois would probably still get the nod as the highest ranked of "The Other Five." Teams like A&M, Clemson, and South Carolina would get consideration. The big bowl games would be much more interesting.

@buddha22 I agree with you. If you win your conference, you should be given a BCS bowl. Those that didn't even play in the title game shouldn't even be considered.

BTW, I read something yesterday that said depending on the game, they COULD drop Florida & give the Sugar to the loser.

Outstanding game to watch, despite the gaudy rushing figures, this felt like THE Championship game. I will be surprised if BCS National game comes close.
By the way, I totally agree with Coach Saban, this travesty of punishing the loser of a conference championship as far as having another league team jump them to the BCS Bowl is crazy. (barring a complete meltdown/breakdown) When they are being jumped by someone they beat in their own division that didn't play/beat the conference champion (yes, you Florida and other times/teams in the past) it absolutely is unjust and makes a mockery of this so-called system.
