Linebacker Matt Rolin from Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Va., has switched his commitment from South Carolina to Florida.
Rolin, who’s ranked the nation’s No. 7 outside linebacker by ESPNU, originally committed to South Carolina in May.
Rolin expressed thanks to South Carolina coaches and fans via twitter for supporting him during his recruitment.
“Going back on my word is something I never imagined myself doing and it hurt me to do it, but in (the) end I have (to) do what’s best for me,” Rolin wrote.
