Strong Makes It Official- Staying At Louisville

Charlie Strong made it official at a news conference this morning – he’s staying as football coach at Louisville. “Louisville has a special place in our heart,” he said just moments ago. He’s expected to sign a long-term extension as the Cardinals football coach, although he indicated this morning no new contract has been signed. Louisville A.D. Tom Jurich has a news conference scheduled for later this morning. Strong said he met with Jurich Tuesday night and told him then he was pretty sure was staying at Louisville and not leaving for Tennessee.
