Is it Friday yet? No?
Dang.
Well, we’ll muscle through a Thursday and catch you up on what’s been happening all around the SEC. Obviously — with the exception of our really long pieces on conference realignment — we’re trying to take things a bit easier as we roll through the holidays. ‘Preciate you putting up with our brief seasonal lull.
Today’s lyric/thought of the day comes from an Arizona band that takes up a whole lotta space on the official MrSEC.com iPod. If you’re not familiar with Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, you should be. One great song after another and a loyal bunch of followers who like to sing along. The song below actually comes from the Refreshments, a group that evolved into today’s Peacemakers… who are seen performing the song in the live video below.
“Una soda por favor. Can’t drink cervezas anymore. ‘Cause if I do I fear I’ll fall down on the floor. Una soda por favor. Can’t drink that anymore.”
