Did Ole Miss not pick up a 5 star recruit, Laquon Treadwell, yesterday 1/17/2012 and another 3 star?

Hard not to be nervous with things in the Ozarks. I am BB fan and his staff seems to be outstanding. Do they have something up their sleeve? Why have they let several recruits out of their commitment but don’t seem to be getting a ton of new commits? Not panicking, just nervous. Would love to hear your take on the situation.

The reason we include quantity as a stand-alone table is specifically to avoid over-inflating those results. If you believe in quality, you can look at the second table. If you’re a fan of just four- and five-star guys, you can look at the third table. Or, if you want to know who’s simply signing the greatest numbers, you can view the first table. Then we combine all three evenly into our own combo rankings in the fourth table.

As for A&M, they announced nine early enrollees back on January 9th. 25 + 9 = 34. So yes, they should be able to sign a huge class.

Again, that’s why we refer to the SEC’s 25-man cap as a “soft” cap.

Nice breakdown – but I have 1 question: doesn’t it artificially inflate TA&M in the Quantity category with 34 commits? With the SEC limit of 25, even adding back counting some, they actually can’t sign all those guys can they?
