@Jamesgoss Thanks. I was visiting one of your fan sites this week and must have misread a post on Kennedy having been there for awhile. Gotta lot to learn about Aggie basketball. I did watch the women’s win a couple of years ago (which was, and I don’t hate to admit it) one of the more fun basketball games I have seen in a long time.

@BonzaiB A&M isn’t a basketball school traditionally but recently (past decadish) they have been good. They made the NCAA tourney 6 years in a row from ’06-’11. However, our Coach Mark Turgeon left after the ’11 season for Maryland. Coach Kennedy is only in his 2nd season as head coach and last year (his first season) he was diagnosed with parkinson’s disease and missed a lot of the season. This season can really be considered his first season in my opinion. Either way, 2 years is not very long so I doubt our AD is looking at replacing him anytime soon.

@Jamesgoss I can’t remember ever hearing of A&M being described as a basketball school (a quick internet search showed the women’s program is pretty good), and you BB coach (Kennedy) has been there for a while. Any rumors on if the new AD is looking for someone to replace him?

Interesting last night watching my Missouri Tigers play a Releford not at kansas. Wished we had Kentucky twice (yes, you read that correctly). The team is starting to gel a bit. Problem is Pressey did not play with any of these guys last year. Ross, who played at Auburn, was be good addition. He had 10 points, I believe. We will get double with Florida. 22 January will interesting with Frank Madman Martin coming to Columbia. Wonder if he can get his team up for it like he did at K-State.

The 1 & done has adversely affected all of college basketball. The ACC is down! The Big12 is down! The Pac12 is down. The Big East is down Only the BIG appears to have quality and depth. The S-E-C can always fall back on, “We’re a Football league”

Wow. I had already written off the season for Texas A&M as bad as they have played in both winning and losing efforts. I guess I expected the SEC to be as good as it was last year. Clearly it’s a down year across the board.

This, by itself, almost justifies the SEC acting pre-emptively to grab North Carolina and Duke. Speaking of which, when are we going to see Part 4 of the Big Bang Theory series, John? (we’re all addicted to this stuff!)
