 When did driving while intoxicated cease to be criminal?  that’s be careful here – this is a serious offense.  He endangered himslef and everyone around him driving impaired.

It very well could have been criminal if he ran into some poor soul and killed them or seriously injured them. He was almost 2x the legal limit.

No comparison between the Alabama arrests and the Arkansas arrest was made.  Alabama’s players actions were violent, this was — as you said — an act of stupidity.  Dangerous and serious, yes, but Flynn did not beat two people into unconsciousness.
