A five-point game at half turned into a second-half blowout for Alabama. The Crimson Tide advance in the NIT with a 62-43 victory.
After leading by as many as 17 points in the first half, Northeastern cut the lead to five points by the break. Up 28-27 early in the second half, Alabama outscored Northeastern 34-16 the rest of the way.
Levi Randolph led Alabama with 13 points while Trevor Lacy added 11.
- Alabama shot 45.5% from the field ( 25-55). Northeastern shot 33% (15-45)
- The Tide outrebounded Northeastern 34-22.
Alabama advances to play the winner of the Stephen F. Austin/Stanford game.
