Tied at 36 with just under 13 minutes to go in the game, Ole Miss went on a 22-4 run to put the game away. Vanderbilt made a small dent late but it wasn’t nearly enough. Ole Miss moves on with a win.
Marshall Henderson led Ole Miss with 23 points, Reginald Buckner added 15 points and Murphy Holloway had a dozen.
Vanderbilt was led by Kedron Johnson with 12 points.
-Ole Miss shot 44% from the field (22-50) while Vanderbilt shot 33% from the floor (19-56)
- Ole Miss went to the free-throw line 31 times but made just 17 (54%) while Vanderbilt made eight of 13 (61%)
Ole Miss advances to play Florida in the championship game Sunday afternoon. Just as importantly, at 25-8, the Rebels most likely punched their NCAA ticket regardless of tomorrow’s outcome.
