Not competing, but just for clarity, the ten Moore owns are just for football. Three other sports have won titles in his tenure as AD.

Anyone with more than one title ring is in the “elite” category. Ten is beyond that. Frank Broyles at Arkansas, now retired, had one as a coach, one as AD when Arkansas won the national basketball championship, and a total of 42 others for indoor track, outdoor track, and cross country. John McDonald was the coach for all of those. I guess him and his wife couldn’t wear all of them on their fingers and toes.

Say what you will about Mal Moore, and it may or may not be true – hard to know without being there. I do not have the knowledge to defend him or not.

It is impossible to argue with this, though. The man owns ten, yes ten, national title rings. As in, if Alabama three-peats, he will not be able to wear them all on two hands. Hard to argue with that.
