The offense vs. defense faceoff pits a member of Vanderbilt’s offense against a member of Vanderbilt’s defense in a contest to see who can answer the most random trivia questions correctly. The final faceoff of the season was between Caleb Welchans (offensive line) and Rob Lohr (defensive tackle). The score was tied at 19 heading into the decisive faceoff.

“The story was our defense in the first half. We shut them down at every turn and we weren’t that good offensively. Twenty-three turnovers is ridiculous. But, we were really good defensively – especially in the first half – and we made some shots. We got a lot of contributions from a lot of people. Our bench was productive.”
