Forum : Black This, Black That. It's All Good (If You Win)

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the poll on GoVolsXtra.com where it was about 80/20 thumbs up to thumbs down to the black jerseys. I wondered what the results would be had we lost.

I also had a feeling Pearl might break some black unis out for basketball, especially after the 5-star Tobias Harris committed, saying that he liked the jerseys, and something like “yeah, it's something recruits pay attention to.”  Hamilton might have said no for now, but I have a feeling we'll see some black basketball uniforms sometime this season…maybe Kentucky or Memphis? Though it'd be hard to imagine not going with orange (or I guess white?) for Kentucky.

Also, if basketball did go for black uniforms (at home I would assume), would that mean the away team would wear the traditional home white?  And why is basketball opposite of football in that the home team wears white?
