Notes from Les Miles’ teleconference:

* Miles opened up his comments by saluting America’s veterans and mentioning the tragedy at Ft. Hood.

* “Last week was a long time ago. … We’re not looking back.”  Miles said his players have had a good attitude this week.

* Miles expects Jordan Jefferson “to be improved,” but he wouldn’t talk too much about his availability in today’s practice.
