* Most of Carolina’s injuries have been on defense this year. Clemson in two weeks will be “a tough game for us, but we’re looking forward to it.”

* No questions for Spurrier at all. “Not too many people in our open date, huh?”

* Spurrier wasn’t waiting around for calls, either.
