First, some background:

This week, prosecutors decided not to file charges against three Arkansas basketball players in connection with an alleged on-campus, frat house rape.

Prosecutors said that the evidence suggested that the sex was consensual.

The girl, however, is “adamant in her allegations.”



Well, point guard Courtney Fortson — two days before the rape story broke — wrote something incredibly stupid on his Twitter page:

I understand that Mr. Fortson was found innocent of wrongdoing by the courts, but the fact that he was even implicated gives the University of Arkansas a blackeye and casts doubt on the entire athletic department.  If there is not some form of internal disciplinary action then apparently the school only cares about making sure they win on the basketball court and a star-athlete is more important than reputation.
