A few random notes before we get to the Alabama, Arkansas and Auburn team reports:

ESPN.com’s Chris Low then focuses on Tennessee where:
* UT’s interim president admitted that UCLA is a better academic institution.
* UT linebacker Rico McCoy says the Tennessee-Florida game is “still going to be played.”
* And Lane Kiffin fired a little recruiting barb in the direction of the Gators.
