High school stats don’t often reflect how well a player performed.
Star players are expected to have impressive numbers.
Trent Richardson’s 414 yards rushing and six touchdowns have given me a different opinion.
Richardson, who’s committed to Alabama but considering other schools, put up those numbers for Escambia High School in Pensacola, Fla.
Alabama needs to hang on to him.
