Another Georgia Player Arrested Over Driver’s License

I can’t believe I’m having to write yet another story like this, but here goes…
Backup Georgia offensive lineman Jonathan Owens was arrested yesterday for driving a motorcycle without a license.
That makes him the THIRD Bulldog to be arrested over a driver’s license issue since October 13th.
Last month, Mark Richt said he was “highly frustrated” by these type of incidents. “We’ve got to make sure we’re monitoring these things so we don’t have these things blow up on us.”
In Georgia, some small motorcycles do not require a license and that might have caused some confusion for Owens.
That said, it’s probably time for Richt to tell his guys the obvious — if you sit on something with a motor… make sure you have an up-to-date legal license.
It’s really not that hard.
