ARKANSAS FOOTBALL NOTES – JULY 7TH, 2008

Plenty of stories concerning Arkansas football to get your week started:

1)  Wholehogsports.com continues their preview of Arkansas’ upcoming season with a look at the Razorbacks’ game with South Carolina.

2)  Sportswriter Rob Keys of The Northwest Arkansas Times freely admits to ripping off an idea from his boss… and ranking the Razorbacks’ 12 football games in order of importance. 

But Keys doesn’t believe the Alabama game is the most important (as his boss, Wally Hall, put forth a few weeks ago).  He believes Houston Nutt’s return to Fayetteville with Ole Miss is he biggest game of the Hogs’ year.

3)  For a look at the other five games the website/paper has previewed so far, click right here… and you can also vote to agree or disagree with their rankings.

4)  Off-field troubles are thinning the ranks at linebacker for new coach Bobby Petrino.  Position switches and incoming freshman are among the possible solutions.
