AUBURN AT VANDERBILT

The most interesting matchup of the day in the conference and judging by our informal poll here at MrSEC (right side of the page) – the most likely scene of an upset.
The 4-0 Vandy team has become such a compelling story that ESPN’s Gameday crew is in Nashville today. “It basically means they want to see what we’ve got,” said Jamie Graham, a redshirt freshman receiver and Nashville native. “They want to know if Vanderbilt is for real.”
Vandy coach Bobby Johnson added a dose of reality this week by recalling last year’s game.
“We just throw on last year’s Auburn film,” he said. “That’s the best thing we can do. (The Tigers) were very impressive in that game and they sort of took us to the woodshed.”
Auburn won the game 35-7. As for this year, Phil Steele notes that Vandy has been outgained by its opponents in three of its four games. Give the four points and take Auburn if his analysis is correct.
