Brooks Closes With Another Laugh

Cool, composed, laid back… Rich Brooks came across like the SEC’s version of Ronald Reagan. He’s the good-humored elder statesman of the league.
After his session wrapped up, he finished with this line to the media:
“Well. Thanks a lot. Been a pleasure. You guys can go to have a cocktail. A cold beer. Talk about where you’re gonna put Kentucky again. (Laughs) There ya go. Have some fun with it. I’m having fun trying to prove you wrong on occasion.”
Just an outstanding showing for Brooks who has gone from Mitch Barnhart’s “what is he thinking?” hire to one of the guys you find yourself rooting for in the SEC.
