1. Cornerback Akeem Auguste will be suspended for the next two games due to an unspecified university matter. Steve Spurrier said he would be dismissed for a similar infraction… to whatever that first infraction was.
2. Joe Person of The State doesn’t believe the issue was academics-related.
3. CC Whitlock started in Auguste’s place on Saturday and hopes to hold onto the spot for until Auguste returns.
4. Whitlock will face embattled Kentucky quarterback Mike Hartline this weekend.
5. According to this notes column, there will once again be a lot of changes along USC’s offensive line.
