Florida Fans Planning To Sing “Rocky Top?”

According to one of the posters on our messageboard, there’s a rumor going around that in an effort to further humiliate Tennessee on Saturday, Florida fans might be planning to sing “Rocky Top” after each Gator score.
Now normally I would write that this type of hubris might lead to some bad football karma. But two things keep me from doing that here:
1) Tennessee’s quarterback play
2) Florida’s focus
The Gators do not stumble in big games. They might stub their toe against an Ole Miss — a team that hadn’t won an SEC game in more than a year — when they met last year… but they don’t blow the big ones.
Whether it’s Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, Ohio State or Oklahoma in BCS title games, or Georgia in last year’s “revenge game,” the Gators under Urban Meyer play at their best when their dander is up.
And their dander is most certainly up this week.
But here’s the question to our Florida readers:
Is there REALLY a plan to sing “Rocky Top” after Gator scores?
We want to hear from you. Just click the comment link under this post or go straight to our messageboard.
And Tennessee people, would hearing The Swamp echo with “Rocky Top” make you angry? Or are you already giving up on this one?
Let us know. You asked for a messageboard. We supplied it. And here’s a perfect opportunity to use it.
