Georgia Offers In-State Athlete

Georgia has offered a scholarship to athlete Jordan Akins from Union Grove High School in McDonough, Ga.
Akins, who’s also considered a pro baseball prospect, is being recruited to play wide receiver. Akins is excited to receive an offer from Georgia.
“It’s a very big deal,” Union Grove coach Steve Collins told the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
Akins has offers from Ole Miss, Maryland, Connecticut, Central Florida and Western Kentucky.
