Wondering why freshman forward Jason Henry wasn’t on the court tonight? Well, it turns out he has a knee injury that may require surgery Monday.

The injury is to Henry’s right knee. The surgery will most likely be arthroscopic and doesn’t seem to be serious.
“It’s not like he blew his knee out,” Arkansas coach John Pelphrey said.
Henry’s knee injury caught Pelphrey’s attention during a practice Friday, he said. Henry dressed out and even participated in shootaround prior to the Hogs’ 95-56 win over Northwestern State Saturday. It wasn’t until a few minutes before the game that Pelphrey and officials decided to hold Henry out.
Pelphrey, self-professed as not being too informed on the late-breaking development, said something is “floating around” in the knee. Henry is expected to be out of the lineup at least two to three weeks. A more concrete timetable for recovery has not been set.
“I have not spoken directly to the doctor yet,” Pelphrey explained.
Henry averages 8.2 points a game for the Razorbacks and has played in six games. He was suspended for three games earlier this season because of an unspecified violation of team rules.
