KENTUCKY AT ALABAMA

Just how good are the Wildcats?  They’re 4-0 on the season but haven’t been tested yet in conference play.  That all changes today when Rich Brooks’ team faces the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.

Going on the road as a big underdog, Kentucky is ready to let it fly.

“We have nothing to lose. They have everything to lose,” said Kentucky senior Dicky Lyons, Jr.

The Tide’s impressive victory at Georgia last week has people in Alabama talking national title. The Tide has outscored its opponents 74-0 in the first quarter this year.

“They’ve gone out and smash-mouth kicked fanny on everybody they’ve played, basically,” Kentucky coach Rich Brooks said. “They’ve not only beaten people, but destroyed them.”

Oddsmakers expect a similar performance today.  Alabama is anywhere from a 14 1/2 to 16-point favorite today.  But the line is dropping.
