1. Rich Brooks won’t name a starting quarterback prior to Saturday’s game at Auburn. Not sure that it matters who starts because he also says it’s “very likely” both QBs will play.
2. John Clay of The Lexington Herald-Leader makes the case for and against starting true freshman Morgan Newton on The Plains.
3. An Auburn beatwriter helps Mr. Clay preview Saturday’s matchup.
4. Kentucky’s offensive line might just be “the team’s most effective unit.”
5. Unfortunately reserve O-lineman Jake Lanefski will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
6. Kentucky should be familiar with Auburn signal-caller Chris Todd… they recruited him out of Elizabethtown.
