1. Rich Brooks knows that to climb from the “lower half of the league,” teams like Kentucky and Mississippi State must first beat the other cellar dwellers.
2. Don’t expect to see black uniforms for UK’s blackout game this weekend. “We’re wearing our regular uniforms,” said Brooks.
3. Even though Cat players want to don black duds.
4. Kentucky hasn’t had a lot of success inside the SEC overall, but they are 7-4 in games versus West Division opponents since 2006.
