1. In Nashville, they’re writing that Kentucky could be much healthier on Saturday. In Lexington, Rich Brooks says UK has the longest injury list it’s had all year.
2. Quarterback Mike Hartline — who was expected to miss most of the rest of the season — might be ready to take some snaps on Saturday.
3. True freshman Morgan Newton has been filling in nicely for Hartline.
4. In basketball news, some Cat fans are wondering if DeAndre Liggins will get much playing time under John Calipari. He didn’t get into either of UK’s two exhibition games.
