KENTUCKY HOOPS HALL OF FAME IN TROUBLE. HOW?

The University of Kentucky’s basketball Hall of Fame needs to raise $500,000 by June 30th or else it’ll be run out of the Rupp Arena complex.
(No word on whether Guido and Luigi will first beat it with chains and tire irons.)
First, I can’t believe that a UK basketball hall of fame is in trouble. I figured crazed Cat fans would show up daily to try on “Kyle Macy’s Virtual Shorts” or to walk through “The Adolph Rupp Wing of Whitey.”
Apparently not.
But even if the hall of fame closes down, UK Deputy Director of Athletics Rob Mullens says that Wildcast basketball WILL be honored somehow, some way.
“What I can assure you is the tradition and history of Kentucky basketball will be represented in some first-class way. It’s our biggest asset. We’re certainly going to protect it. It’s our best trump card. We’ll sing about it the loudest we can.”
He then added, “UK basketball is the big cheese. The top dog. Numero uno honcho.”
