These are your UK stories for the day:
Kentucky led the nation in basketball attendance for the 13th time in the last 14 years last season.
Despite their great home crowds, Calipari has already started talking about playing a big game in Louisville each year. Now he wants the Cats to play some games in Nashville, too.
A Forbes.com article states that Calipari helped usher in a new era of coaching salaries in the NBA.
Rivals.com has already ranked Kentucky’s signing class as the nation’s best. Now Scout.com has done likewise. And UK still might land John Wall… the nation’s top-ranked player.
Finally, in football news, running back Moncell Allen has done well enough academically to remain eligible this fall. He missed last year’s Liberty Bowl because of his grades.
