As fall camp approaches in the Bluegrass State, Chip Crosby of The Lexington Herald-Leader has put together a list of 10 questions facing Rich Brooks’ team in 2009.
It should be no surprise that Question One regards the UK quarterback situation and how long Mike Hartline can hold onto the job.
One player who isn’t a question mark is cornerback Trevard Lindley.
You can scratch defensive lineman Donte Rumph from your Kentucky roster, but you can add in tight end/receiver Anthony Kendrick’s name.
Sadly, Tom Leach reports on his website that running back Derrick Locke will miss the first few days of fall camp due to the death of his sister. Our thoughts go out to Locke and his family.
On the basketball front, John Calipari says he hopes “that six guys leave” for the NBA next year because “it would mean we had a great year.”
And The Herald-Leader’s John Clay has tracked down an interview with Calipari in which the Cats’ coach says he’d like to find a way to play three point guards at once.
