Kiffin HIring Cutcliffe Assistant?

Tennessee’s new coach Lane Kiffin has tried to raid the NFL for
assistant coaches.
Now, the Vols are trying to pry a coach away from Duke.
Ron Middleton, who just finished his first season on David Cutcliffe’s staff, has been offered a three-year contract with annual raises to join Tennessee’s staff, according to a sources.
Middleton had not committed to a decision as of early Monday afternoon.
Middleton coached at Alabama in 2007 and was with the Tampa Bay Bucs before that, where he coached with recently hired UT defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin.
Middleton has expertise as a special teams coach.
Lane Kiffin has announced the hiring of five assistants. He is expected to retain only one person from Phillip Fulmer’s staff, running backs coach Stan Drayton.
