The talk in Baton Rouge once again centers around staff changes to be made by Les Miles:
Yesterday, The Man In The Little Hat said that “adjustments” would be made inside the program before the team plays in their bowl game.
So, do that mean staff changes are in the offing? Not necessarily. Miles mentioned things like “doing things the right way” and attitude adjustments as part of the changes coming.
When asked if he was talking about players or coaches, he said, “overall view, inclusive.”
Alright. (Oh, and Jordan Jefferson will start at quarterback in the Tigers’ bowl… likely the Chick-fil-A.)
The Baton Rouge Advocate got Miles to talk a bit more specifically about his plans for his defensive coaching staff. When asked how he felt about changing his co-coordinatos, he said, “I don’t know that I want to go over that piece right now to be honest with you.”
Then he was asked if there were advantages to making changes before bowl preps began. “I haven’t give a lot of thought to that, to be honest with you. Even if I was, I wouldn’t answer honestly.”
Former Tennessee D-coordinator John Chavis has been linked to the job. Ed Orgeron said that he would listen if called. And former Clemson coordinator Vic Koenning is also now being mentioned as a possibility to take over LSU’s reins on defense.
