LSU Headlines – 10/5/09

1. Jordan Jefferson grew up a bit on Saturday in Athens. He looked like a veteran on LSU’s go-ahead score with three minutes to play. (The one before the Georgia score, penalty and LSU’s last score.)
2. Les Miles knows folks still have some doubts about his team. Saturday’s game with Florida will give the Tigers a great chance to shut folks (like me) up.
3. ESPN’s “College GameDay” crew will be in Baton Rouge for the game.
4. Cornerback Patrick Peterson says matching up with guys like Georgia’s AJ Green was why he signed with LSU.
5. Glenn Guilbeau of Gannett Louisiana writes that this squad is similar to its head coach: it just wings things, but it usually turns out for the best.
