1. Jordan Jefferson says he has to try to be perfect against Alabama’s defense.
2. Patrick Peterson is looking forward to his one-on-one battle with Julio Jones.
3. Linebacker Kelvin Sheppard is having a breakout season for the Tigers.
4. Here’s an odd fact: the road team in the Alabama-LSU series is 27-11-1 since 1970. That’s hard to believe.
5. According to this notes column, Les Miles says he’s been playing “Sweet Home Alabama” at practice this week. He also says that he doesn’t know the lyrics which I find impossible to believe.
6. Facing Terrence Cody this week, center T-Bob Hebert knows he’ll have to stay low and drive with his feet.
7. Miles believes his team might actually need to slow down a little bit in practice.
