LSU linebacker Kelvin Sheppard will be used all over the field in a variety of roles.
Peter Finney of The New Orleans Times-Picayune writes that Les Miles should hope that John Chavis can have the same impact on the Tigers that Bill Arnsparger did back in 1984.
Les Miles doesn’t want to overload quarterback Jordan Jefferson with an ultra-complex gameplan. (Jefferson isn’t worried, by the way, about playing in the rain in Seattle Saturday night.)
According to this notes column, LSU’s players should all be well-prepared to play in the rain. (You see, it rains more in Louisiana than it does in Seattle.)
Freshman Russell Shepard is getting good reviews for his work in the Tigers’ Wildcat package.
Shepard is one of six true freshmen listed on Miles’ depth chart.
