Memphis Writer Wants Memphis To Chase Pearl

Geoff Calkins of The Memphis Commercial-Appeal is pulling no punches.
In his view, Memphis needs to go after Tennessee’s Bruce Pearl — regardless of that $1.8 million buyout we just told you about in Jimmy Hyams’ story.
Why Pearl?
Because he did more in his first four years at Tennessee than John Calipari did in his first four years at Memphis.
He also couldn’t possibly “lie as much” as Calipari.
This is one that will have UT fans cheering (aside from the whole Memphis thing) and UK fans screaming.
