MING COMMITS TO ALABAMA

Defensive lineman William Ming from Athens (Ala.) High School has committed to Alabama.


Ming chose the Tide over Tennessee, Auburn, LSU, Georgia, Florida State and Notre Dame.


Ming’s decision isn’t surprising. He grew up an Alabama fan and wanted to stay close to home.


When Ming’s coach, Allen Creasy, announced Ming wanted to decide by Aug. 7, it became apparent Alabama would be his choice.
