PAT DYE GETS HIS PANTS BACK

Speaking of Auburn football in the 1980s, Pay Dye just got a pair of his old pants back… after more than 20 years.
A woman (or girl, the story isn’t clear on that) on Alabama’s Lake Martin recently found a pair of mud-caked pants on a dried up shoreline. In the pants was a wallet. The wallet belonged to the Tigers’ old coach.
The pants were still folded and creased with a set of car keys in one pocket. The pants have since been returned to Dye.
“I do remember those pants. I don’t have any idea how I lost ‘em, but we can make up a good story.”
I’m guessing the real story is pretty good, but we’ll never know it.
