SAFETY SWEARINGER COMMITS TO SOUTH CAROLINA

D.J. Swearinger, who originally committed to Tennessee, has committed to South Carolina.
The safety from Greenwood (S.C.) High School said it was time to make the decision.
“I was ready to get this out of the way,” Swearinger said. “There was no need holding it back.”
Swearinger’s teammate, junior defensive lineman Kelcy Quarles, has become South Carolina’s second 2010 commitment.
