5. In basketball news, Mikhail Torrance will return to his Mobile roots to lead Alabama against #17 Kansas State tomorrow.
6. Auburn receiver Darvin Adams says he’s motivated by the fact that he wasn’t named an All-SEC player.
7. Receiver Tim Hawthorne graduates today and will bypass the Outback Bowl to end early his star-crossed AU career.
8. In basketball news, Auburn rallied from 14 down, but Florida State still hung on for a 76-72 win in Tallahassee last night.
