1. Tennessee versus Ole Miss figures to be a grudge match over former UM head coach (and current UT assistant) Ed Orgeron.
2. Jonathan Crompton is rewarding Lane Kiffin for sticking with him when all of Knoxville was calling for his head.
3. UT’s quarterback is actually fourth in the nation in touchdown passes and just broke a Peyton Manning record on Saturday.
4. Some playing time against Memphis has apparently gone a long way for freshman receiver Nu’Keese Richardson.
5. Kiffin had to discipline backup tailback Tauren Poole for showing his displeasure with a lack of playing time.
5. This weekend’s game will be just the Vols’ fourth all-time at Oxford.
