1. Lane Kiffin continues to say good things about UCLA offensive coordinator Norm Chow… who some say he helped force out when they worked together at Southern Cal.
2. If you watch the ESPN broadcast, be prepared to hear a LOT about the matchup between Norm Chow and Monte Kiffin.
3. If Jonathan Crompton has a bounce-back kind of season in 2009, former NFL coach Sam Wyche can take some of the credit.
4. A number of injured Vols — including Josh McNeil and Gerald Jones — could play for Tennessee this week.
5. UCLA has some guys on defense who could play in the SEC.
6. In basketball news, Bruce Pearl will be honored at this weekend’s football game for leading Team USA to victory in this summer’s World Maccabiah games.
