Tennessee Recruiting Notes

Tennessee hosted eight prospects over the weekend, four of whom were already committed to the Vols.
One prospect who isn’t committed is linebacker Greg King from Memphis Melrose High School. King knows which school he’ll sign with, he’s just not ready to say which one.
Offensive lineman Aubrey Phillips visited UT as a Vol commitment. He left the same way.
Cornerback Eric Gordon from Nashville, Tenn., was the first commitment for head coach Lane Kiffin. Gordon was happy to spend time with his future coaching staff.
Finally, Dave Hooker of the Knoxville News Sentinel points out one of UT’s weaknesses in recent years — a lack of quality defensive tackles, which is something Kiffin is trying to fix.
