VANDERBILT AT WAKE FOREST

The last kickoff of the SEC regular season schedule features a non-conference game involving two struggling schools. Vanderbilt has lost five of six; Wake Forest has dropped four of its last six contests.
Inside Vandy captures the mood of this one.
“The teams share many similarities, both being the smallest schools in their respective conferences, both sporting black and gold as their colors, and both sputtering in the final weeks of the season after hot starts.”
The hometown paper isn’t that confident in the Commodores, predicting a 24-14 Demon Deacons victory.
Wake Forest opened as a 3 1/2 point favorite. A few places have now pushed that line as high as 4 1/2 points.
