Varnado Scores/Rebounds Nine In USA’s Win To Claim The Bronze

BELGRADE, Serbia – Featuring four players who scored in double digits, the 2009 USA Men's World University Games Team (6-1) rebounded from its semifinal loss and collected the bronze medal after defeating Israel (6-2) 91-80 on Saturday. Medaling in every World University Games in which a USA Basketball team has competed, the USA is now 131-8 in all-time World University Games play and owns a record 13 gold medals, three silver medals and three bronze medals.
