Since this game is always played right around Halloween, I think it would be cool if Carolina brought out the all black uniforms and Tennessee brought out the all orange uniforms every year. It would make for some cool hype around the game. What do you think?
The Daily Feed is running in its abbreviated version today. You know the drill.

Tennessee travels to Columbia this weekend to take on Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks. With South Carolina still in the hunt for the Eastern title, this game could get interesting if Tennessee shows up. The Vols have to win a game soon, right?
SEC Power Poll, Week 8: Westerns | Team Speed Kills
The Gamecocks are still riding high at #4. Srsly?
Generating offense has proven to be problematic for Tennessee thus far, as the team is only averaging 21.4 ppg and 320.9 total ypg. The ground attack has been rather weak, accounting for just 121.3 ypg at a clip of 3.8 yards per carry. … Switching focus to South Carolina, it played without standout tailback Marcus Lattimore against Vanderbilt, but is expected to be back in action this weekend. Lattimore has rushed for 538 yards and 10 touchdowns to date, and the Gamecocks are averaging 29.6 ppg and 404.0 total ypg.
This would be a very different article if it were about those who must continue to step up. You’d see the names of Marcus Lattimore, Brian Maddox, Tori Gurley, Alshon Jeffery, DeVonte Holloman, Ladi Adjiboy, and the incredibly underrated Devin Taylor..
Now I do not have any direct knowledge of the specific medical details of Lattimore’s injury, but I don’t think it is at all surprising that his status is uncertain.
A high ankle sprain involves not only the normal ligaments on the outside of the ankle but also the ligaments between the tibia and fibula above the ankle. This injury would likely keep Lattimore out 4 to 6 weeks.
The Gamecock men’s soccer team earned a 1-0 win over FIU in a crucial Conference USA contest at Stone Stadium on Wednesday night. With the win, South Carolina improves to 8-5-2 on the year, including a 3-2-1 mark in league play. FIU falls to 7-8-0, with a 1-5-0 C-USA record. Junior midfielder Stephen Morrissey scored the game winner for Carolina, his first goal of the season and the second of his career.
