Georgia Loses One WR Commit; Hopes To Hold Onto Another

Georgia is hoping Tramel Terry won’t make the same decision as Demarre Kitt.

Kitt, a junior wide receiver from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Ga., decommitted from the Bulldogs on Thursday.

“I think I committed too early,” Kitt told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “Clemson and (South Carolina) are still recruiting me hard, and I still want to give them a fair chance.”

There’s a chance Terry, a 2013 Georgia commitment from Goose Creek (S.C.) High School, could switch his commitment from Georgia to Clemson. It would be the second time Terry has decommitted from Georgia.

“It wouldn’t surprise me,” Goose Creek coach Chuck Reedy told ESPN RecruitingNation.

Terry visited Clemson last weekend and could make a final decision in December, according to Reedy. Georgia has 27 commitments – four from wide receivers – in the 2013 class.
