Congrats to LSU, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, and Missouri on their Thursday wins at the SEC Tournament in Nashville. The SEC’s four remaining bubble teams — Kentucky, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Alabama — will all be in action today, fighting for their NCAA Tournament lives. (While most bracketologists say those four teams are all still in the mix, we continue to say for the third-straight weekend that the math suggests only UK and UT are truly bubblicious.)
Today’s thought/lyric of the day comes from a 1996 release by No Doubt. Anyone who clicks play on the video below and remembers the song from its heyday will “no doubt” say — as I did — how the hell can this song be 17 years old?
For that matter, how can Gwen Stefani still look the same at 43 as she did at 26? (Somewhere my old friend Elrod Jabez Junker nods in agreement.)
“Our memories, well, they can be inviting. But some are altogether frightening.”
